We are a leading European provider of premium, tailor-made kitchen worktops and back walls. At our three locations in Germany, Hungary and Sweden, we produce high-quality worktops and back walls made of glass, ceramics, natural stone, quartz stone, Dekton, solid wood, Compact and laminate in a wide variety of designs. Thanks to our versatile production process and many years of experience in manufacturing worktops, Lechner offers not only a wide variety of materials but also products that meet the highest quality standards and embody a high degree of innovation. It all started with the classic laminate. Lechner was one of the first companies to establish the worktop as an essential design element for the kitchen. From a small joinery at the beginning of the history to one of the largest and most modern production lines in Europe.

In our fully automated woodworking shop, we manufacture worktops and backsplashes made of laminate, solid wood, Compact and Brilliant line. Thanks to our modern machinery, we can guarantee our customers continuous high quality and capacity. We only use FSC and PEFC certified materials.

Fully automated production

Solid wood, Compact, Brilliant line and laminate panels are manufactured in our wood-based materials hall according to Lean optimised standards.
Largest decor selection and availability

The laminate programme now comprises around 120 decors with a wide variety of surface structures.
Flexible manufacturing options

Flexible manufacturing capabilities allow for several million linear metres of sheet goods per year.
State-of-the-art machinery

Worktops and back panels are largely manufactured with state-of-the-art machinery.
State-of-the-art gluing and postforming line

Our laminate production has one of the most modern gluing and postforming lines in Germany.
Sink installation

Our special laminate features include flush-mounted sinks ex works. This is a tried-and-tested installation method that comes with a 5-year guarantee.
Solid wood refinement

Every solid wood worktop is finished and oiled by hand at the Lechner factory. This gives the solid wood worktop its silk-matt surface finish.

On an area of over 14,000m² we produce over 600 laminate worktops per day using 16 production machines. Including our laminate back walls, this adds up to over 230,000 laminate products per year. Over 60 employees ensure smooth production and the highest quality standards – many of whom have been with us for over 20 years.

Glass production

Crystal clear

Since 2006, Lechner has been producing glass kitchen worktops and back walls using state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment. No other material offers so much variety and design freedom – and thus serves the current strong demand to create personalised living spaces. And when it comes to glass motifs, Lechner has offered an unprecedented degree of exclusivity and quality in the market since 2008 thanks to our unique, proprietary printing process.

From raw glass to fine glass worktop

Incoming goods inspection

All raw tablets, which are approx. 4 m high, are subjected to a strict inspection at the time of goods receipt.
Glass cutting process

In the first step, the raw glass is scribed with the help of a diamond cutter.

Modern CNC machining

The glass plate is CNC-milled with cut-outs for the hob, tap and sink.
ESG firing process

The glass is fired at enormous temperatures, giving it exceptional stability and safety.
100% Recycling

ESG shatters into small, non-sharp-edged pieces in the event of breakage. Our remnants are 100% recycled.
Image optimisation

For customised motifs, each image is checked and optimised before printing.
Motif print

The glass plate is lacquered or individually printed by means of digital printing.
Sink installation

The sinks are installed by hand at the factory.

Figures on our glass production

We produce approximately 250 glass back walls and worktops every day. This adds up to over 60,000 glass products per year. In our glass production facility, 33 employees work on eleven machines spread over an area covering more than 5,000m². All our glass remnants are 100% recycled.

Production of our stone materials

Hard as stone

Since 2004, Lechner has been producing stone materials from natural stone, quartz stone, ceramics and the innovative material Dekton. Over the years we have invested several million euros in our production facilities to achieve a degree of automation that leads the way in the stone processing industry.

From quarry to finished product

From around the world

Our natural stones come from quarries all over the world - from regional to exotic.
Large stock

For a quick delivery time, we keep a huge stock of natural stone, quartz stone, ceramics and deco decors.
Strict incoming goods inspection

Each individual stone is inspected and photographed on receipt of the goods. Only previously inspected slabs are used for processing.
Powerful device

The plates, which usually weigh hundreds of kilograms, are picked up by means of negative pressure.
State-of-the-art processing facilities

The cutting of the panel determines its final dimension.
Clean milling work

The individual machining operations are milled out cleanly by means of a water jet.
Water as an important commodity

For the processing of the hard stone material, water is used both as a coolant and to flush away the stone powder.
Sustainable water treatment

The polluted water is cleaned in a treatment plant and then returned to the production process in the interest of the environment.
Genuine craftsmanship

Upstands are precisely mitred, checked and finished by hand.
High-quality polish and impregnation

At Lechner, the panels are finished by hand with a high-quality polish or impregnation.
Tested quality

Each panel undergoes a rigorous final inspection before delivery to ensure the highest quality.
The trial run

To ensure maximum colour uniformity and fit, multi-part worktops are completely assembled and tested.

In a 20,000 m² production facility, Lechner employs state-of-the-art machinery and 110 superbly trained employees to produce stone worktops for discerning customers looking to add the "wow-factor" to their kitchen. We attach great importance to sustainable production.
